VISA Steel Limited is a part of the VISA Group, which has a decade long experience in the minerals and metals industry with a strong global presence in countries including India, China, Australia, Indonesia, Switzerland, UK and Hong Kong.

VISA Steel has its registered office in Bhubaneswar and corporate office in Kolkata with manufacturing units in Kalinganagar and Golagaoan and branch offices across India. The company has a strong backing of experienced promoters, reputed Board of Directors and qualified team of professionals.

The Company is currently operating a Blast Furnace with production capacity of 225,000 TPA of Pig Iron, a Stamp Charged Coke Oven Plant of 4,00,000 TPA and a Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plant & a Chrome Ore Grinding Plant with capacity of 100,000 TPA each.

The company is setting up an integrated 1.5 million tpa Special and Stainless Steel Plant at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Orissa and also plans to set up integrated steel plants in the other minerals rich states of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

KALINGANAGAR OPERATIONS

VISA Steel enjoys a rich decade-long insight into the business of minerals and metals through supply of raw materials and marketing of finished products. Capitalising on the attractive opportunities presented by a growing economy and industry, the Company is strategically taking this insight a step ahead through the phased implementation of an integrated Special and Stainless Steel Plant at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex in Orissa. The first phase of the project includes:

225,000 TPA Pig Iron Plant - commissioned in March 2005 in record 11 months.
400,000 TPA Coke Oven Plant
50,000 TPA Ferro Chrome Plant
300,000 TPA Sponge Iron Plant
75 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant
500,000 TPA Special & Stainless Steel Plant.

GOLAGAON OPERATIONS

Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plant (COBP) Capacity: 1,00,000 TPA
Located at Golagaon, Orissa, the COBP produces high-grade chrome concentrates through beneficiation of low-grade chrome ore by gravity separation process for onward exports through Paradip Port.

Chrome Ore Grinding Plant.(COGP) Capacity: 1,00,000 TPA
Located at Golagaon, Orissa, the COGP produces chrome ore powder with size below 200 mesh (-75 microns) by drying the chrome ore, then grinding the chrome ore and packing in bags for onward sale to various chrome chemical plants across India.
